Das Äußere des Eies folgt eng dem Design des Fabergé Ei aus dem Film Octopussy, mit wunderschönem 18-karätigem Gold Gittergerüst, das zart mit blauen Saphiren besetzt ist weiße Diamanten in einem blumenähnlichen Design.
Auf der Oberfläche des Eies ist eine geometrische Guillochierung eingraviert Muster, um die organischere Form des Eies und jedes gegenüberzustellen Das Stück wurde mit grüner Emaille verziert, um perfekt zusammenzupassen mit dem Fabergé x 007 Octopussy Egg Objet in limitierter Auflage. Auch dezente Anspielungen auf den Octopussy-Film sind in das Design eingewoben, einschließlich der Öse des Medaillons, von der es inspiriert ist der Buchstabe „O“ in der Titelbehandlung des Films.
Im echten Fabergé-Stil bietet das schöne Eiermedaillon auch eine Überraschung – beim Öffnen kommt ein Miniatur-Oktopus aus 18-karätigem Gold zum Vorschein, den Geist des Namensgebers des Films einfangen. Der Oktopus war mit zwei schwarzen Diamantaugen.
