Since their inception Fabergé eggs were a byword for decadence and craftsmanship whose mystique only increased after the fall of the Romanov empire. After a 90 year hiatus the world’s most iconic objet d’art has been reinterpreted for a new generation as Couture Jewellery Pendants. The launch took place in a suitably grand Mansion on the 6th July -during Paris Couture Week. The ‘Les Saisons Russes’ collection draws inspiration from Peter Carl Fabergé’s world and of course the dramatic Russian seasons. The select invitees, including Carine Roitfeld and Mario Testino, were transported through each collection and season culminating with the dozen Haute Couture eggs-one for each month of the year and inspired by of a Russian proverb.
