Fabergé unveils the Forever Sunburst Egg Pendant, a celebration of ancestral techniques captured in a vibrant new pendant.
Presented in three collectible colours, each piece features a central brilliant-cut diamond set on each side of the egg.
The unique character of this pendant lies in its complex artistry. Like a burst of light, the Forever Sunburst Egg Pendant captures the luminous beauty of sunburst guilloché. Painted over 18k yellow gold, the opalescent enamel is layered onto the solid gold, reflecting its radiance.
A signature technique of the Maison, sunburst guilloché is defined by radiating lines that begin at the centre of the centre of the egg, pointing towards the brilliant diamond.
To reflect the beauty of this ancient savoir-faire, Fabergé explored its archives to discover the colours that would define this new creation: Midnight Green, Stormy Blue and Golden Yellow. A reference to the Maison’s imperial past, reimagined as modern jewellery pieces.
Fabergé’s use of colour remains an integral part of the Maison’s work. Opalescent or opaque, the Maison is recognised for having developed over 140 opalescent enamel shades, reviving long-forgotten colours and beloved techniques from the 1700s. Each colour was created with intention, developed to adorn the most exceptional objets and jewels.
