    • milestone dates, such as birthdays or other dates of personal significance;
    • family details (including details of your intermediary or family members involved in any sale or product collection/delivery); and

    • statistical and analytical information, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL), clickstream to, through and from the Website (including the date and time of access), products you viewed or searched for, page response times, download requests and errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (for instance scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs) and methods used to browse away from the page.

    In respect of sales:
  • to respond to enquiries you place with us, either via the Website, telephone or through a visit to one of our boutiques;
  • to assist with or complete any orders you place with us, which may involve credit and/or identity checks;

If you do not supply your personal data to us, it may delay or prevent us from providing you with our products or services (for example, we will not be able to sell you one of our pieces). If we cannot provide a product or service to you because you do not supply us with your personal data, we will notify you at the time. 
  • it is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us (for example, operating and making available the Website, and providing you with information about our products and services, particularly in connection with  pre-sales, post-sales and relationship management activities).
  • we process your personal data on the basis of your consent for receiving our newsletter, where this has been given unambiguously.
If we are relying on your consent to process data, you may withdraw your consent at any time by notice to us. By withdrawing your consent to our newsletter, you will no longer receive our newsletter.

  1. Fabergé will share your personal data with the following third parties recipients or categories of recipients:
  • other Fabergé staff in locations around the world;
  • our third party suppliers who help us to fulfil any order that you place on the Website e.g. our delivery companies and third party payment processors;
  • our third party suppliers who help us maintain the Website and support our business e.g. our hosting provider, Website developers, marketing agencies and our IT support team;
  • our third party event companies, who organise and host events for us to which you may be invited;
  • credit and identity checking service providers, law enforcement, regulatory bodies and fraud prevention agencies, to comply with our legal obligations or to help tackle fraud or investigate any breach of the Website terms and conditions or this Privacy Notice; and
  • other group company members of Gemfields Limited’s Group.
  1. Data transfers.
If we intend to transfer your personal data outside of the European Economic Area, it is to Fabergé staff and the staff of the Gemfields Limited’s Group based in: Andorra, Australia, Azerbaijan, Canada, Qatar, Mozambique, Zambia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Switzerland, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, and the USA.

For the transfers to Andorra, Canada and Switzerland, these are subject to a finding of adequacy by the European Commission.

For the transfer to the USA, the recipients are self certified under the Privacy Shield.

For transfers to: Australia, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Mozambique, Zambia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Thailand and United Arab Emirates, we are transferring personal data on the basis of standard data protection clauses which have been put in place with these third party recipients.

  1. Data retention and storage:
  • We will keep your personal data for as long as you are a client of ours.
  • After you stop being a client of ours, we will retain your personal data to comply with our legal obligations, our obligations under any product warranties and to allow us to review and certify the authenticity of the pieces we sell.
Our data is held within the UK, regardless of the location in which the data was collected. This means that if your personal data is collected in one of our boutiques, your personal data will be retained in the regional location in which that boutique is located and also in the UK; for example, if you visit our boutique in Houston - US, your personal data will be held in Houston - US and the UK.

All of our boutiques around the world follow our security policies and practices, and we work hard to keep your data secure regardless of its physical location.
