A new world record has been set for the world’s most expensive whiskey collectors set, following the successful global unveiling of the highly anticipated ‘Emerald Isle’ collectable whiskey set by The Craft Irish Whiskey Co., in partnership with Fabergé.
The inaugural launch of these highly limited boxes set the world record at $2million USD. The final bid for the first Emerald Isle box to be released was secured jointly by Houston-based Fabergé collectors James and Korrine Whipkey and a second group of private investors led by Scott H. Weissman. All proceeds of the St Patrick's Day sale will go to the Correa Family Foundation, a charity supporting children affected by cancer, chaired by Major League Baseball star, Carlos Correa.
The generous donation to the Correa Family Foundation will be destined to support underserved childhood cancer patients in Houston, Central America, and Puerto Rico. Specifically, the foundation will be able to help cover daily expenses including food, transportation and rent for over 15,000 children with cancer. In addition, the foundation continues to sponsor over 1,000 patients and their siblings with financial support and gifts during holidays and Christmas.
The remaining six Emerald Isle experiences boxes, including a 30-year-old, triple distilled single malt Irish whiskey, a Fabergé Celtic Egg and bespoke 1/1 Fabergé watch, will be released at auctions and events in key cities throughout 2021.
