Fabergé, the world’s most iconic artist jeweller, is proud to announce The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt, a creative charity initiative which will take place in New York from 1st to 26th April 2014 in collaboration with leading artists and designers, to raise funds for charities Elephant Family and Studio in a School.
Participants who enter the hunt will have the opportunity to win one of three Fabergé prizes, with a combined retail price exceeding USD 125,000. The unique prizes are specially designed jewellery egg pendants in gold and diamonds set with either exquisite Zambian emeralds, Mozambican rubies or Zambian amethysts. The coloured gemstones for the prizes are kindly donated by Gemfields, the world's leading producer of ethically-sourced, rare coloured gemstones.
The Fabergé prizes are Zenya egg pendants, part of the Fabergé Imperial Collection which is inspired by the jewelled splendour of the Imperial Romanov court, and evokes the rhythms of the Russian seasons, whether literal or metaphorical. The three pendants will be on display at the Fabergé New York boutique at 694 Madison Avenue, for the duration of the hunt.
