‘FABERGÉ REVEALED’ EXHIBITION

1 Minute Read

The Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) in Boston, USA, presents the ‘Fabergé Revealed’ exhibition from 22 June 2013 to 29 September 2013. More than 230 rare and notable treasures created by the House of Fabergé between 1855 and 1916 are on show at the exhibition, including Imperial Eggs, jewellery, cigarette cases, enamelled parasol handles and carved hard-stone animals drawn from the collection of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

“The legacy of Fabergé is one that has continually captivated the public imagination,” says Dean Lahikainen, PEM’s Curator of American Decorative Art. “Equally compelling are the concurrent histories of these exquisite objects and the people who possessed them.”

Fabergé is the proud sponsor of the Patrons’ Preview for ‘Fabergé Revealed’.

The exhibition runs from 22 June 2013 to 29 September 2013.
