In time for Spring, Fabergé unveils its new delicate collection of fine jewellery ‘Les Impératrices’. This series of precious, intricately crafted and exquisitely gem-set egg pendants and drop earrings is inspired by the bejewelled splendour of the Empress Alexandra, wife of Nicholas II, his mother, the Dowager Empress Marie Fedorovna, and the four high-spirited Imperial daughters, the Grand Duchesses. Les Impératrices include the Oeuf Duchesse with gem-set rococo curves, the sparkling pave-set Zaritsa and Zarevna pendants and the Oeuf Impératrices made of rose gold with diamonds, white diamonds and pink sapphires, or deep blue sapphires, velvet red rubies or grass green tsavorite garnets, set in blackened white gold creating the romantic vintage effect of a treasured heirloom.
