Fabergé was invited to join Vogue Gioiello (Vogue Jewellery, Italy, the ‘style bible’ for fine jewellery lovers, and something of an institution in the jewellery world), in celebrating its 30th anniversary, at a spectacular event held in Milan during Fashion Week. The historic Casa degli Atellani served as a perfect backdrop for the highly stylised exhibition, showcasing magnificent jewellery from fifteen of the world’s most celebrated master jewellers. White was the theme of the evening, running through both the design of the exhibition and the party. To set the tone, a white Maserati Grancabrio in the courtyard of the Casa greeted the crème de la crème of the international fashion world as they stepped into the wonderland of sumptuous High Jewellery.
The Fabergé mannequin, dressed in a couture gown by Giambattista Valli, was swathed in Fabergé Rose Petal brooches, part of the series of poetic fallen petal jewels from the Les Fleurs de Fabergé collection, punctuated with flights of fancy including the Sadko Sea Horse Brooch and the exotic Firebird Brooch, both inspired by Russian fairytales, from Les Fables de Fabergé collection. All of the jewels presented on the evening were unique pieces from the Fabergé High Jewellery collection, Les Fabuleuses de Fabergé.
