FABERGÉ HOST PRIVATE LAUNCH

1 Minute Read

On Thursday 9th June, Fabergé, the world’s most iconic artist jeweller, hosted an exclusive event at its London flagship boutique to celebrate the launch of Marriages are made in Bond Street, by Penrose Halson. The event celebrated the successful launch of Ms Halson’s first non-fiction book, which tells the inspirational story of two innovative women who established a marriage bureau at 124 Bond Street in 1939. During a time of growing uncertainty and fear in wartime Britain, the bureau blossomed into a national institution. Ms Halson has enjoyed remarkable success with her first book, which has thus far reached 3rd place on the Evening StandardNon-fiction Bestsellers’ list.

The evening, hosted by Sarah Fabergé, a personal friend of Ms Halson, offered guests the opportunity to discover an incredible story and meet the author, whilst surrounded by Fabergé’s exquisite jewelled creations. Today, Fabergé takes inspiration from its storied past to introduce a new era of enchanting and enduring personal possessions and gifts for contemporary connoisseurs. By painting with the world’s finest coloured gemstones, Fabergé explores the art of colour through creations which are designed to become future heirlooms.

Marriages are made in Bond Street is available to purchase from Waterstones, WH Smith and some independent bookshops.

Fabergé collections are available online and in the international boutiques.
