On Friday 7th July, C.W.Sellors, Fabergé’s exclusive retail partner in the East Midlands, welcomed their VIP clients at the front entrance of Chatsworth House, an area that is usually out of bounds to the public. The Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, who live in the exquisite manor house, welcomed the guests and invited them for tea in their own private library. After an introductory speech from the Duke and C.W.Sellors founder, Chris Sellors, in which they presented a small selection of rare Fabergé historical items, the group was then taken on a private tour of the house.
Chatsworth House is currently showcasing an exhibition called ‘House Style’, which presents five centuries of never-before-seen items from the Devonshire Collection. The heritage pieces tell the stories of the fascinating individuals who have walked the Chatsworth floors.
Upon completion of the tour, guests were directed up to the charming cobblestone courtyard, for a private preview of Fabergé’s exquisite fine jewellery, timepieces and objet d’art collections. From the vivid gem-set Emotion collection to the vibrant pop colour shot beakers, Fabergé presented the latest innovative and colourful creations.
Fabergé collections are available online or in our international boutiques.
