Lana Del Rey looks stunning in the Fabergé Romanov emerald and diamond necklace, in the December issue of Vanity Fair. The singer wears the lace collar design on a black dress with long black gloves, for an iconic look reminiscent of a modern-day Audrey Hepburn.
The spectacular Romanov necklace, a modern masterpiece, is a regal reworking of an early Fabergé jewel, recreated and contemporised from an archival gouache design dated 1885. The ravishing necklace comprises 79 ethically sourced cabochon emeralds from Gemfields’ Zambian mines, totalling 186.85 carats, as well as over 2,000 white diamonds, and was designed through a complex and challenging design which took 16 months of intense and meticulous hand workmanship by some of the world’s finest artisans, goldsmiths and gem-setters.
