The exhibition “Fabergé Revealed” will showcase rare and exceptional Fabergé pieces in Las Vegas from 14th November 2014 to 24th May 2015. It will present the largest public collection of antique Fabergé items outside of Russia, featuring 240 original Fabergé objects created throughout the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Presented at the opulent Gallery of Fine Art in the Bellagio Hotel (BGFA), Las Vegas, this exhibition is a rare opportunity for visitors to experience and immerse themselves in the world of Fabergé.
Tarissa Tiberti, BGFA Executive Director, comments, “These treasured objects encompass the beauty of art while also telling one of the most powerful stories in history – the fall of the Russian Imperial family “.
The exhibition includes the four most-sought after Imperial Easter Eggs commissioned by the Romanov Family. A key highlight is the Pelican Egg (1897), embellished with red gold, pearls, diamonds, pink and blue enamel. The egg opens into ivory oval frames that depict eight important Russian institutions and is one of the Imperial Eggs gifted to the Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna of Russia.
Known for its prestigious exhibitions and elegant surroundings, the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art is the perfect setting for “Fabergé Revealed” and is organised in partnership with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
“Fabergé Revealed” is held from the 14th November 2015 to 24th May 2015 at The Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art in Las Vegas, USA.
