Fabergé is delighted to announce that the recently unveiled Fabergé Visionnaire Chronograph has been honoured with the “Jury Watch of the Year” prize at the Temporis Gala Awards, on Thursday 18th May 2017.
The Temporis Gala Awards, hosted at the Athene Palace Hilton in Bucharest, Romania, is dedicated to recognising those who push the creative boundaries of Haute Horlogerie.
The nominees for this coveted award were hand-selected by the expert jury, comprising leading figures drawn from many facets of the watch world, including Nicholas Foulkes, Kari Voutilainen, Philippe Dufour and Dan Vardie.
Aurelie Picaud, Fabergé Global Timepieces Director, said:
“Everyone at Fabergé is simply over the moon! It's a tremendous honour to win this prize for the Fabergé Visionnaire Chronograph, particularly from a jury of this calibre.
Our team has worked incredibly hard and I was delighted that Jean-Marc Wiederrecht could join us on stage in receiving the award given the ingenuity that he and the fabulous Agenhor team deployed in conceiving this radical movement.
It’s a real joy to work together in this magnificent industry!”
The Fabergé Visionnaire Chronograph marks a new standard in charting time. Hours and minutes are read at the periphery of the watch dial while the chronograph function takes centre stage. The automatic calibre 6361, developed in partnership with Agenhor, offers a new intuitive chronograph display. It is a revolutionary new movement that imparts unprecedented clarity, precision and efficiency to the highly popular chronograph complication. It is the modern-day analogue to a Fabergé egg — a mechanical opus with wonder at its heart.
