THE ANIMAL BALL

1 Minute Read

Fabergé has designed a unique mask for The Animal Ball, an exceptional event organised by the Elephant Family charity to raise funds for endangered species and celebrate 10 years of saving wildlife.

Guests at the ball, which takes place in London on 9th July 2013, will wear animal masks created by the world’s leading artists and fashion houses including Christian Lacroix, Matthew Williamson, Mario Testino, Missoni, Dita Von Teese, Cartier and of course, Fabergé.

Hosted by Mark Shand, Lady Catherine St Germans and Omer Koç, this innovative fundraiser will take place in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall. The guest list will be an eclectic mix of the social, artistic, fashion, film, political and literary worlds.

The Fabergé mask is inspired by the firebird, the most magical bird of paradise in Russian fairytales. The mask features rainbow feathers, exquisite embroidery and iridescent amethysts.

All of the Animal Ball masks are exhibited at Selfridges in the personal shopping department from 12th June to 2nd July 2013.
