Product Description

This 1842 Yellow Gold Petite Egg Pendant features the Fabergé hallmark and is set in polished 18 karat yellow gold. The chain measures 50cm in length. The egg shape measures 14.8mm in height, 9.8mm in width and 2.5mm in depth.

The 1842 collection pays homage to the year when Gustav Fabergé opened his jewellery boutique in St. Petersburg. This fine jewellery collection is inspired by the gold jewellery and precious accessories Fabergé began producing in the years before the first Imperial Egg was born. Each piece showcases Fabergé’s iconic egg-shaped hallmark, in 18k yellow gold.

In keeping with Fabergé’s penchant for surprise, a ruby, responsibly sourced from Gemfields Montepuez ruby mine in Mozambique, is hidden within. Rubies are a symbol of passion, prosperity and protection, making them the perfect secret addition to this striking new collection.
