Yes, rubies can be worn daily and are classed as highly durable gemstones. Rubies rank 9 out of a possible 10 on the Mohs scale of hardness, making the likes of chipping and scratching unlikely. However, it is possible to physically damage rubies, so we would advise taking care when wearing your ruby jewellery and avoiding any direct impact to the stone.
