September 2012 sees the launch of the much anticipated work – Fabergé: A Comprehensive Reference Book – researched and written by Tatiana Fabergé, Eric-Alain Kohler and Valentin Skurlov. The 624 page book, which took ten years to complete, surveys the history of the House of Fabergé, accompanied by plentiful anecdotes and previously unseen images.
Tatiana Fabergé, great-granddaughter of Peter Carl Fabergé, is a founding member of the Fabergé Heritage Council which advises the modern day Fabergé in honouring its legacy and heritage of exquisite artistry and craftsmanship. Tatiana, who is a veteran author and Fabergé scholar, has co-written several books on Fabergé to date, including the definite volume - published in 1997 - on the fifty famed Fabergé eggs delivered to the Imperial Family.
A book signing with Tatiana Fabergé will be held in the Fabergé boutique at 14A Grafton Street, Mayfair, London on Wednesday 26 September 2012 from 10:30 until 11:30. Published by Editions Slatkine of Geneva, the volume retails at US$200, with a limited deluxe edition available for US$400.
Tatiana Fabergé’s new book will be available in selected bookstores and in Fabergé’s international boutiques.
