Known for its remarkable durability, the name “diamond” originates from the Greek word "adamas," meaning "invincible" or "unbreakable". The oldest diamonds date back over 3 billion years. Historically, diamonds were believed to possess healing abilities, act as antidotes to poison, and offer protection against the plague.
