Love Rose Petal Brooch
With its pristine beauty, this white rose joins the fallen petal jewels of Les Fleurs de Fabergé. Catherine the Great’s treasured roses in Tzarskoye Selo were guarded all year round, while the white rose in particular, signifying innocence and secrecy, was a favourite flower (and perfume) of Empress Alexandra. Its pale purity is recreated in this complex composition of white and pink diamonds and misty moonstones hinting at the soft blush of first love.
This piece is set in 18 carat gold and silver and features round white, blue, pink and violet diamonds and moonstones.
