Fabergé timepieces embody the characteristic perfectionism and panache pioneered by Peter Carl Fabergé, who ingeniously incorporated clocks, and occasionally watches, into his rich repertoire of jewelled objects and personal possessions. Today, the tradition of Fabergé timepieces continues to evolve through collections of hand-made watches, exquisitely fusing the past and the present, artistry and craftsmanship, and deploying the finest materials, techniques and components.
The quintessentially feminine Anastasia, with its graceful, oval dial, takes on an easy opulence, covered in diamonds, from its dial pavé-set with diamonds, to the diamond-encrusted 18 carat white gold bezel and case and even the crown, set with a single diamond. The dazzling whiteness refers to the sumptuous embroidered white gowns favoured for formal occasions by the ladies of the Russian Imperial court. The watch is powered by an automatic quartz movement, and comes on a satin strap. The dial is 29x25,50 mm diameter, and the quartz movement from F1601 (base ETA 976.001).
